Thanksgiving Craft
Every year I have students make Thanksgiving trees. They're easy to make and a fun craft for that short Thanksgiving week. First I have students make a list of things they are thankful for. Then they trace and cut out their hands (they are the leaves on the Thanksgiving tree), on each hand they right something they are thankful for. I use yellow, orange, and red construction paper for a fall tree look. Next students use brown construction paper to create a trunk and branches, then they glue on the hands. I should have posted this earlier, but it's a fun craft to remember for next year!
